Koraput Sandhya (an evening in Koraput)

Product line: Dhemsa – Rhythm of the Hills | Hand-painted Bamboo Mat Wall Art | 8" × 11"

Short description: A flute calls across the valley, and the women of the hills answer in dance, arms linked and feet in rhythm. Painted by hand on woven bamboo mat in a natural bamboo frame, it brings the joy of Odisha's tribal festivals into your home.

The painting shows women dancing in a bent, linked line beside a flute player, set among hills, huts and a river. That closely matches Dhemsa, the tribal folk dance of Koraput in Odisha, so the name carries a real cultural story.
